Click here to see Jesus Nebot’s film, “Migrants in Danger Waiting for Asylum” that documents the struggle of migrants stuck in Tijuana, Mexico under dangerous conditions waiting for the US ports of entry to reopen so they can apply for asylum. These ports of entry have been closed to them since March 2020 when the Trump administration implemented Title 42 to deport asylum seekers and prevent them from entering the US.  We are still waiting for the Biden administration to cancel this policy that violates their human rights. There is a promise by the Biden administration to put an end to this policy by May 23rd, 2022 but it is unclear still if that will be the case.
