The gift of peppermint oil has a story. Ari Honarvar and I began every refugee music/dance healing session by placing one drop of peppermint essential oil in each hand. Traditionally peppermint oil is known as the oil of a buoyant heart. I wish you could see the palpable difference visible on their faces, as the scent brought them out of their worries and sorrows and into the here and now of music and dance.
